Intelligence and Violence is an album released in 1990 by Violent J of the Inner City Posse and D-Lyrical. Violent J later recalled disliking D-Lyrical and only working with him for his karaoke machine.[1]

The entire album was recorded on a karaoke machine in D-Lyrical's basement. [2] Cassettes of the album were handed out for free.[3]

D-Lyrical represented the Intelligence aspect of the album, while Violent J represented the Violence.[3]
