The song was best remembered for the Internet meme surrounding the song's music video and Shaggy 2 Dope's lyric "fuckin' magnets, how do they work?" Insane Clown Posse have admitted that they purposely wrote "Miracles" and filmed its music video to inspire a meme. The song was parodied on Saturday Night Live, which infamously featured the parody lyric "what the fuck is a clock?"

YouTuber Huggbees analyzed the song's lyrics, noting that while many of the things mentioned in the lyrics are not theological miracles, the song's lyrics were not intended to discuss the things mentioned in the context of a religious miracle, but rather simply out of appreciation for what exists, and although he isn't a fan of ICP's music, he felt that the media coverage of the song misunderstood the song's lyrics.
